At our Wash at Joe’s – Conklin Avenue location, we utilize a GeoThermal Heating System for all of our ice-melt requirements. Our concrete bay floors and aprons are heated to keep ice away. Typically, the heat is provided by high efficiency boilers powered by natural gas. Geothermal uses ground water as its energy source. Warm Water is pulled out of the ground and chilled water is returned to the ground. It is a total renewable energy source.
